After you place the device over your ears, you'll want to hold the + button for 3 seconds. Then you will hear a voice say "Power on."
STEP 3: Pair and play
Connect to your device via Bluetooth in seconds. Works with Apple, Android, Laptops, TV's, Tablets and other Bluetooth enabled devices. Then you will hear a voice that says "connected."

"I bought Auris and I seemed to favor house music as my therapy of choice, I had minimal hearing loss so there’s no amplification. The sounds they produce are not meant to mask, it’s meant to retrain your brain n nervous system to basically not react to T as an emergency. I was very skeptical at first, how adding another noise could possibly help, but it does seem to be literally training my brain to react differently tolerating the T. It feels like it gave me some power over it"

One thing I recommend is for people to test out different sounds and frequencies to see what works best for them to play with the Auris system. “This thing seems to help shut up the ringing when I’m trying to relax. I can sit in my recliner without feeling like a tea kettle screaming in my head.sleeping with it kinda sucks though.
I toss and flip all night, so I keep shifting it around to get it comfortable. If you sleep like a statue, you’ll be fine. But if you move around like me, be ready to fiddle with it.
I’ll take fiddling over losing sleep but I wish it would stay put”

"I’d read online that some ‘bone conduction’ devices are just tiny speakers pointed at your ears. Basically the same thing as a sound machine or headphones.But I tested Auris by plugging my ears completely, and I could still hear the therapy sounds crystal clear.
That’s when I knew it was the real deal. Not air speakers.
Once I started using it at a gentle volume, the ringing finally started fading into the background instead of getting worse like it did with regular headphones.

"I hadn't slept through the night in two years, and my poor wife was ready to move to the guest room because of my tossing and turning at 3 AM.
